Hello there!

I've always been fascinated by technology. Ever since the age of six, when I first started dismantling anything I came across (particularly old electronics—looking back, I realize how dicey this could be!), I've been trying to work out how they function. This fascination has continued into my day-to-day life, where I particularly enjoy learning new things, whether it’s during my work as a software engineer or during one of those YouTube rabbit holes on a rainy Sunday afternoon where you end up watching hours of content on a subject you never thought would be interesting!

Currently, I work part-time as a junior software engineer on the epraise platform at Veracross. My tasks mainly include web development, spanning smaller bug fixes to larger features that positively impact thousands of schools and their wider communities worldwide. While my main role is software development, I also occasionally assist with testing across mobile and web platforms, consistently receiving praise for my ability to detect issues. I’ve also always been eager to help with technical support when needed and maintain a working knowledge of the platform.

I’m also in my final year of an undergraduate computer science BSc at the University of Greenwich. This continues to expand my knowledge, utilizing a wide variety of technologies, such as Python, Java/Kotlin, complex algorithms, and more.

I’ve always maintained the attitude that no challenge is too big, ensuring that I ask for help when I’m out of my depth to continue extending my knowledge and delve into bigger, better projects.
